WHAT TO BRING TO TREATMENT<br />

Prescripti<strong>on</strong> medicati<strong>on</strong>s you are <str<strong>on</strong>g>currently</str<strong>on</strong>g> taking. Please bring enough to last the entire treatment<br />
stay (approximately 30 days’ worth).<br />
Insurance cards<br />
o All funding arrangements are required to be in place prior to admissi<strong>on</strong>.<br />
o Self-pay residents are required to set a payment plan with Patient Account Services.<br />
o If you are funded by the C<strong>on</strong>solidated Chemical Dependency Treatment Fund (CCDTF), you<br />
must have a client placement authorizati<strong>on</strong> completed from your county.<br />
o If you have insurance coverage, we will do our best to pursue any payments for which you are<br />
eligible, but ultimately you are resp<strong>on</strong>sible for payment.<br />
Pers<strong>on</strong>al Hygiene Products (All products must be virtually scent-free, n<strong>on</strong>-aerosol, and alcohol<br />
free. Fragranced items are not allowed, e.g. Axe, Old Spice, Crew, Brut, etc.)<br />

o Tennis shoes (sandals can <strong>on</strong>ly be worn <strong>on</strong> the unit with socks or brought with to appropriate<br />
recreati<strong>on</strong>al activities, close-toed shoes are required <strong>on</strong> hospital grounds)<br />

o Active wear for recreati<strong>on</strong> activities<br />
o Swimwear<br />
o Outerwear appropriate for the seas<strong>on</strong> (hats and gloves are required in the winter)<br />
Stamps<br />
Ph<strong>on</strong>e/calling cards (in order to make l<strong>on</strong>g distance calls these are required)<br />
Addresses and ph<strong>on</strong>e numbers for individuals that may be involved in the treatment process:<br />
o Family members<br />

o Primary medical clinic<br />
o Other referrals (e.g. social worker, mental health case worker, Rule 25 assessor)<br />

Cash up to $50 (small bills, change is not available). This cash is kept in a locked area. Clients will be<br />
allowed to keep $5 <strong>on</strong> them at any time unless otherwise approved.<br />
Pictures that do not include any reference to alcohol or drug use, gangs, or are sexual in nature.<br />
Tobacco products (no loose tobacco or rolling products are allowed and no lighters, matches are<br />
available)<br />
WHAT NOT TO BRING TO TREATMENT<br />
Drugs or paraphernalia<br />

o Pocket knives<br />
o Anything that can be c<strong>on</strong>strued as a weap<strong>on</strong><br />

o Heating pad or electric blankets<br />

o I-pods, MP3s, etc.<br />

o Video games<br />
o CD players or CDs (radio is available during free time)<br />
o Cameras<br />
o Hand-held devices<br />
Valuable jewelry<br />

Hair coloring<br />
Clothing:<br />
o Clothing that includes drug and alcohol references, rock bands, gore or shirts that portray<br />
offensive or negative topics/picture (e.g. skulls with blood or snakes)<br />
o Excessively ragged, tight or revealing clothing<br />
Food, pop or liquids of any type (individually wrapped candy is allowed if store bought, e.g. Jolly<br />
Ranchers, Werthers Originals, gum, etc.)<br />
MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION<br />
Alarm clocks are provided.<br />
Laundry facilities are provided with laundry detergent and fabric softener at no cost (pers<strong>on</strong>al<br />
detergents are allowed based <strong>on</strong> approval and are stored with staff).<br />
Nicotine products are not provided or purchased by staff.<br />
