EasyDrive coordinates the different components of the ALPHA transmission.
EasyDrive optimises the global capacities of the transmission (speed/torque,
progressive acceleration and braking, going through the gears under load) and
establishes a new standard in terms of ease, safety and driving comfort.

Deutz engine
The ALPHA VariTrack are fitted with Deutz engines meeting the
current anti-pollution standards. The range offers 2 engines
turbo charged common rail, water cooled, 4 cylinders 140 hp and
cylinders 190 hp. The fan driving by viscocoupler reduces significantly
the noise level in the cab. High diesel tank capacity (20
litres).
Easy maintenance
The opening of the two bonnets (upper and lower ones) respectively
by tipping up and sliding makes the access easy for the selfpropelled
sprayer maintenance.
Hydrostatic transmission Easy Drive by SAUER pump electrically
controlled and 4 POCLAIN dual displacement wheel motors.

4 wheel drive and steering
With permanent 4 wheel drive, the ALPHA can be driven in 2 or 4
wheel steering. A foot pedal activates the "4 wheel steering" function.
The alignment of rear wheels is automatic.
