County Council to provide a new Dementia Carers service in
Warwickshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to be part of
developing and promoting an innovative new service to support
carers of people with dementia and work with the leading support
and research charity for people with dementia, their families and
carers.
The Dementia Carers Co-ordinator will provide a case
management approach offering detailed information/signposting
and emotional support to carers of people with dementia.
The ideal candidate(s) will have a background of working in a
supportive and information giving environment and will be able to
demonstrate:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of providing family support in a social setting, paid
or unpaid
• An ability to understand the needs of people with dementia and
their carers
• Be confidential in using database systems
