THE TRANSFER
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
PROGRAM
The Transfer Academic Scholarship Program is designed to recognize those undergraduate transfer
students who have achieved outstanding academic performance in their college coursework to date and
who exhibit the intellectual ability, personal development, and special motivation necessary for the
highest levels of academic achievement, service, and citizenship during their university careers.
These scholarships are awarded competitively to first-time Marymount University students, including
international students, and are based on a full review of the applicant’s college transcript(s) and this
application.
To be considered for a scholarship, the applicant must first be accepted for admission to Marymount
University as a full-time, degree-seeking student. Prior to enrollment at Marymount, the applicant must
have completed 30 college credits and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3. Students
who have previously completed coursework that culminated in a bachelor’s degree are not eligible for
this scholarship program.
The priority deadline for applications is May 1.*
Scholarships will be awarded for the upcoming fall semester.
