PROGRAM<br />
The <strong>Transfer</strong> <strong>Academic</strong> <strong>Scholarship</strong> Program is designed to recognize those undergraduate transfer<br />
students who have achieved outstanding academic performance in their college coursework to date and<br />
who exhibit the intellectual ability, personal development, and special motivation necessary for the<br />
highest levels of academic achievement, service, and citizenship during their university careers.<br />
These scholarships are awarded competitively to first-time <strong>Marymount</strong> <strong>University</strong> students, including<br />
international students, and are based on a full review of the applicant’s college transcript(s) and this<br />
application.<br />
To be considered for a scholarship, the applicant must first be accepted for admission to <strong>Marymount</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> as a full-time, degree-seeking student. Prior to enrollment at <strong>Marymount</strong>, the applicant must<br />
have completed 30 college credits and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3. Students<br />
who have previously completed coursework that culminated in a bachelor’s degree are not eligible for<br />
this scholarship program.<br />
The priority deadline for applications is May 1.*<br />
<strong>Scholarship</strong>s will be awarded for the upcoming fall semester.<br />
