EXPRESS SHUTTLES
METRO EXPRESS:
MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY
The “Metro EXPRESS” will operate on class days, Monday through Friday, between 7:00
a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the mornings and between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the
evenings, on the following schedule:
Morning Schedule:
Leaves Main Campus: 7:00 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m.
Leaves Ballston Metro: 7:15 a.m., 7:45 a.m., 8:15 a.m., 8:45 a.m., 9:15 a.m., 9:45 a.m.
Evening Schedule:
Leaves Main Campus: 4:10 p.m., 4:40 p.m., 5:10 p.m., 5:40 p.m., 6:10 p.m., 6:40 p.m.
Leaves Ballston Metro: 4:25 p.m., 4:55 p.m., 5:25 p.m., 5:55 p.m., 6:25 p.m., 6:55 p.m.
The Metro EXPRESS will make a stop at the Metro bus stop adjacent to Mt. Olivet
parking lot southbound only. None of the EXPRESS buses will make a northbound stop
between Ballston Metro and Main Campus.

SCHEDULE
BALLSTON CENTER EXPRESS:
Two Marymount University shuttle buses marked “Ballston EXPRESS,” will run between
the Main Campus and Ballston Center with a stop southbound at the Metro stop adjacent
to the Mt. Olivet parking lot on request Monday thru Friday ONLY.
The first EXPRESS will depart Main Campus at 8:30 a.m. and Ballston Center at 8:45 a.m.
The second EXPRESS will depart Main Campus at 8:45 a.m. and Ballston Center at 9:00
a.m. Both buses will run every 15 minutes terminating service at 6:45 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
respectively.
SHUTTLE BUS INFORMATION
Delay Information:
If you are waiting at a stop and a shuttle is delayed more than 10 minutes, call (703) 284-
1600 or (703) 284-5760 for information.
Restrictions:
Persons riding the shuttle may be required to present a valid MU ID card or guest pass to
the driver. Guests will be permitted to ride the shuttle unaccompanied from the Metro or
Ballston Center to the Campus Security checkpoint, where they must report to Security.
Shuttles are not permitted to deviate from the route to which they are assigned or to
make stops at unauthorized locations.

LOCATION OF STOPS
The regular stops for shuttle service are Main Campus, Wood Lee Arms, Mt. Olivet Church
parking lot, Ballston Center, and Ballston-MU Metro ONLY.

NOTICE: The above locations are the only authorized drop off and pickup points.
WEEKDAY SCHEDULE
On weekdays, buses will operate between 7 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Each will depart from
Main Campus and stop at the locations identified above. Shuttles will run 20 minutes
apart starting on the hour from Main Campus and Ballston Metro.
Mondays through Thursdays, from 10:15 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., the shuttle will run every 30
minutes between Main Campus and Ballston-MU Metro only. The shuttle will stop at
Wood Lee Arms and Ballston Center on request only.
WEEKEND & HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
FRIDAY & SATURDAY:
10:15 p.m. - 2:30 a.m., the shuttle will run every 30 minutes. The bus stops at Main
Campus and Ballston Metro with stops at Wood Lee Arms and Ballston Center by
request only. Last bus leaves Main Campus at 2:15 a.m. and Ballston-MU Metro at 2:30
a.m.
SUNDAY:
10:15 p.m. - 12:30 a.m., the shuttle will run every 30 minutes. The bus stops at Main
Campus and Ballston Metro with stops at Wood Lee Arms and Ballston Center by
request only. Last bus leaves Main Campus at 12:15 a.m. and Ballston-MU Metro at
12:30 a.m.
