The Fall-Pac units can be linked together using the interlocking fasteners that come
attached to each one. Once fastened together it isn’t possible to fall between them.
They can be used in any area, enclosed or out in the open such as:
• Stairwells
• Lift shafts
• Rib infills
• Trenches
• Deliveries/laydown areas
Hireage is $2 - $3 /day/unit
2. Prescription Safety Glasses: Peter Gates (HOYA)
With an aging workforce HOYA have recognised the increasing need for employers to
provide prescription safety glasses for their staff.
They have developed a web site where employers can easily arrange for their staff to
be supplied with prescription safety glasses according to a predetermined range of
options agreed to by the employer.
The employer decides the extent of its eyewear Policy with HOYA. i.e. what it will pay
for in terms of lens types, lens treatments and types of frames. An employee is able to
pay for any lens/frame variations to their employer’s Policy.
Arrangements for setting up the employer on-line ordering system can be made through
NZ Safety or an optician.
