Performance of the Tourism Sector in August 2005 HOTEL INDUSTRY PERFORMANCE Hotel room revenue increased by 11% to reach S$94 million Average Room Rate (ARR) for August 2005 reached S$131, an increase of 10% over August 2004. Average Occupancy Rate (AOR) reached 86%, registering a 5 percentage points increase over August 2004. Hotel room revenue for August 2005 reached S$94m, an increase of 11% over the same period last year.
