At a by-election
in the summer,
Andrew
Boulton
was elected
as the new
Councillor for
the Eynesbury
Ward.
Councillor Boulton served as an engineer
in the Royal Navy and now works for
the MOD. He is a keen photographer
and hopes to contribute to editions
of Priorities in the future. He lives in
Eynesbury with his wife Hazel and their
children.

Reducing
Speeds In Town
A new speed limit has been imposed in
the centre of town. As from July 14th. the
maximum speed for vehicles driving along
the High Street and Market Square is 20 mph.
This is part of the County Council’s Accident
Reduction Scheme and follows a number
of accidents including a fatality two and a
half years ago. The new restriction has been
accompanied by traffic calming alterations to
the road which were made during August.
