as the new<br />

<strong>Council</strong>lor for<br />

the Eynesbury<br />

Ward.<br />

<strong>Council</strong>lor Boulton served as an engineer<br />

in the Royal Navy and now works for<br />

the MOD. He is a keen photographer<br />

and hopes to contribute to editions<br />

of Priorities in the future. He lives in<br />

Eynesbury with his wife Hazel and their<br />

children.<br />

Reducing<br />

Speeds In <strong>Town</strong><br />

A new speed limit has been imposed in<br />

the centre of town. As from July 14th. the<br />

maximum speed for vehicles driving along<br />

the High <strong>St</strong>reet and Market Square is 20 mph.<br />

This is part of the County <strong>Council</strong>’s Accident<br />

Reduction Scheme and follows a number<br />

of accidents including a fatality two and a<br />

half years ago. <strong>The</strong> new restriction has been<br />

accompanied by traffic calming alterations to<br />

the road which were made during August.<br />
