10.10 WELDABILITY OF HIGH-ALLOYS This section will give information about welding of high alloy metals, such as austenitic stainless steels, precipitation hardening stainless steels and nickel based alloys. These materials are not as common as carbon and low-alloy steels, such as 1 ¼ Cr- ½ Mo and 9Cr-1Mo, but may still be used in some processes within the oil industry.
