Although baggage security checks may be conducted on exit, many current exit control procedures do not verify the legitimacy of the traveller with the passport document. Are we absolutely certain that all travellers through the gates are who they say they are? Should exit controls be universally introduced, regardless of the cost, to mitigate traveller fraud identity?
