Amplifier and Control Unit P-336
Announced by Newcomb
A new low distortion 25-watt amplifier
for theatres has been announced by the
Newcomb Audio Products Co. With a frequency
response from 20-20,000 cycles, the
amplifier offers six input channels, five
for microphone and one for phonograph.
All six channels may be remote-controlled
from the audience by a control unit that
weighs less than two pounds. A locked
cover over the controls prevents tampering
with adjustments.
A bandwidth control adjusts the frequency
bandwidth of the amplifier in keeping
with the program quality, leaving the
tone controls free to provide correct balance
between highs and lows. Visual indicators
reveal the power output in watts
and indicate distortion before it becomes
audible to the ear.

cakes each for commercial use.
A single deodorant cake is used at a
time. It is inserted in the opening in the
Odor-Ban and the unit is plugged into any
wall socket, making a cord unnecessary.
The deodorizing vapors are expelled through
the top grill. The unit uses less than four
watts of electricity.

Fast-Serv Fountain
A new all-steel fountain, called the Fast-
Serv creamer unit, has been introduced by
the Bastian-Blessing Co. of Chicago. The
creamer has a 30-gallon ice cream capacity
and is constructed with the ice cream cans
slanting toward the operator for easy dipping.
A storage section, raised for easy
access, extends along the rear and the
sliding lids serve as extra work space. A
di-y system of refrigeration is employed
with all coils concealed. An enclosed section
is provided to house the water cooler
and the optional carbonator. The Fast-
Serv also is equipped with draft arms for
dispensing drinks.
