I have just one question... i need a cable that works with BASCOM 8051 from atmel directly, i
saw that BASCOM supports STK200/300, there is a way to ajust your model to turn it similar
to stk and bascom see it?
Or you have any information of anyone that got BASCOM to program a 89s52? and what cable
he uses?
Hi,
I am trying to program the AT89S52.
The software does not give an error while reading the flash.
(It reads the flash as all 0xFF which looks ok),
but if I try to program the flash, it gives an error message:
"Write error at adress 00000000 byte written 01 byte read FF"
Can you suggest the possible reason for this?
Can I presume that the read operation is working ok?
Thanks & Regards,
Pratham.
It is clear that it is not writing, so 0xff remain there.
please check the connections at pin31 to Vdd is proper. also check whether you have the 10uF
and parallel104 disc cap as filter between pins 40(Vdd) and PIN20 (Vss).check the setting of
programming speed in the ispprog software
set it to "1/16" th or less of the crystal you have used.
you also ensure that the cable used is not longer than say 15or 20 inches. better slect the
device manually instead of leaving to software.
