2 Airplane and Systems Descriptions<br />
2.19 Inflight Entertainment<br />
The right additional panel is equipped with RCA jacks for audio<br />
in. For aircrafts equipped with GMA 240 audio panel activate the<br />
audio-in signal by pressing “MUSIC” and then select “1”. To<br />
adjust volume pull the right knob and rotate it.<br />
Note: The audio signal will not fade if a radio call comes in or if<br />
pilot and copilot talk to ea<strong>ch</strong> other. Only during alerts by the<br />
Dynon System audio is faded. The music is not transmitter<br />
during radio calls.<br />
For aircrafts equipped with GMA 340 only limited audio<br />
functionality is provided. GPS and audio-in cannot be put<br />
through intercom at the same time. If audio shall be played, the<br />
3,5mm jack of the Garmin GPS must be disconnected. Take out<br />
the GPS from the AirGIZMO, disconnect the audio wire and<br />
reinstall the GPS in the AirGIZMO.<br />
Note: The audio signal will fade ea<strong>ch</strong> time a radio call comes in<br />
or out, during alerts by the Dynon System and if the pilot and<br />
copilot talk to ea<strong>ch</strong> other. Music is not transmitted during radio<br />
calls. The GPS will not put out any hearings or alerts if its audio<br />
wire is disconnected.<br />
Warning Listening to music during flight may lead to <strong>ch</strong>ange<br />
from subject, heedlessness or inattention. Take care<br />
that you are always aware of the situation of the<br />
flight and stay ahead of the aircraft. If in doubt,<br />
swit<strong>ch</strong> off audio entertainment, especially during<br />
take-off, landing and while talking with ATC.<br />
