First Semester Final Exams Schedule<br />

January 2013*<br />

First semester final exams will be held on Wednesday, January 16, Thursday, January 17, and Friday, January 18 for all<br />

students. Announcements will be made each morning at 8:50 a.m. During finals, there will be a 10-minute passing time<br />

between each period.<br />

Schedule for Wednesday, January 16, 2013<br />

Period 1 Exam 7:30 - 8:40 a.m. (70 minutes)<br />

Period 2 Exam 8:50 - 10:05 a.m. (75 minutes - 5 min. announcements)<br />

Period 6 Exam 10:15 - 11:25 a.m. (70 minutes)<br />

Make-up 11:35 - 1:00 p.m. (85 minutes)<br />

Schedule for Thursday, January 17, 2013<br />

Period 3 Exam 7:30 - 8:40 a.m. (70 minutes)<br />

Period 7 Exam 8:50 - 10:05 a.m. (75 minutes - 5 min. announcements)<br />

Period 4 Exam 10:15 - 11:25 a.m. (70 minutes)<br />

Make-up 11:35 - 1:00 p.m. (85 minutes)<br />

Schedule for Friday, January 18, 2013<br />

Period 8 Exam 7:30 - 8:40 a.m. (70 minutes)<br />

Period 5 Exam 8:50 - 10:05 a.m. (75 minutes- 5 min. announcements)<br />

1 st Make-up Period 10:15 - 11:35 a.m. (80 minutes)<br />

2 nd Make-up Period 11:45 - 1:00 p.m. (75 minutes)<br />

Please see the attached memo for Study Hall and Physical Education guidelines.<br />

All students - including those in Physical Education - will be involved in assessments. Teachers will be notified if<br />

students need to leave early due to enrollment in a college class.<br />

Students will not be permitted to be in the academic corridors during examinations.<br />

A specific time has been scheduled each day to make up exams. This should facilitate completion of the semester. Only<br />

students who have make-up exams or remain for lunch should ride the late activity bus. Please note that on Friday, there<br />

are two final make-up periods.<br />

Students must remain with their teachers for the entire testing period. TEACHERS WILL NOT BE DISMISSING<br />

EARLY.<br />

Students with 4th or 6th period lunch may leave the building at 10:05 a.m. on Wednesday or Thursday, and those with a<br />

5th period lunch may leave school at 8:40 a.m. on Friday.<br />

Breakfast will be served from 6:45 to 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. No breakfast will be served on Friday.<br />

Only students in supervised activities will be allowed in the building after 11:25 a.m. on exam days.<br />

Buses will leave promptly at 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and at 10:15 a.m. on Friday. Activity buses<br />

will be available Wednesday (1:15 p.m.), Thursday (1:15 p.m.), and Friday (12:00 p.m.) for students who remain<br />

for make-up assessments. Athletic buses will leave at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and 1:15 p.m. on Friday.<br />

* In case of school closing due to inclement weather, final exams will be delayed. They will follow the same<br />

schedule as above (with dates changed).<br />
