your voice box. You push air through your<br />

teeth and lips. For example, the sound lpl<br />

comes from air through your lips. The f d<br />

sounds in (b) are voiceless.<br />

Final -8 is pronounced /z/ after voiced sounds,<br />

as in (c).<br />

Final -8 is pronounced Is/ after voiceless<br />

sounds, as in (d).<br />
