PURPOSE OF <strong>JOB</strong><br />
• To support the delivery and integration of advertising campaigns both on and offline<br />
• Management of trade activities to support Sales and maximise ROI across markets<br />
• To measure performance of campaigns, reporting of results and coordination of<br />
budget/spend<br />
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br />
• Supporting the delivery of market-leading creative executions for integrated campaigns<br />
o Support the <strong>Acquisition</strong> Managers with placing media and creative to support the<br />
campaign objectives<br />
o Provide recommendations and results for activities as required<br />
o Brief agencies as appropriate<br />
o Support local partnership and advertising campaigns<br />
o Responsible for co-ordination of local and national sponsorship campaigns<br />
o Work with the Sales team on ad hoc advertising opportunities to maximise revenue<br />
from relationships<br />
o Be mindful of a consistent approach for direct and trade partnerships<br />
• Work with the <strong>Acquisition</strong> Managers to produce marketing collateral for shows/trade<br />
exhibitions/3 rd parties<br />
o Including car ferry guide and groups brochure<br />
o Leaflets for agent distribution<br />
o Trade – i.e. Group Passenger Registration forms, Behaviours on board leaflets,<br />
Group Insurance leaflet<br />
• Copywriting on and offline including writing advertorials and editorials for coach/travel<br />
trade/direct<br />
• Measure the performance of the campaigns and report on the results<br />
o Work to a set of metrics that allow for timely, pragmatic, and accurate result<br />
measurement of the impact of marketing campaigns. This process should include use of<br />
control groups and measurement of ROI<br />
o Identify trends and patterns in data and communicate commercial/strategic<br />
opportunities<br />
o Develop timely, accurate, pragmatic, user friendly reports that enable the results to<br />
be understood by colleagues and external agencies<br />
o Reporting should be done to an agreed published schedule. Ensure the findings are<br />
incorporated into the next cycle of activity<br />
• Co-ordinate the budget and reporting of spend within the marketing team<br />
o Raising of purchase orders and adding information to CODA<br />
Reporting of spend to the relevant teams and Finance<br />
o Overall reporting of budget figures to HOD<br />
• Attend industry shows, events. Exhibit where appropriate<br />
