refurbishment was being managed by Property
Services and has now been handed over to
ECP. Further work is necessary to market the
leases of available space on the ground Floor
and 3 flats on the first floor. A report was been
drafted to report to cabinet in October 2006
seeking authority to negotiate a lease of the three
flats to a RSL who would then sublet the flats on
assured shorthold tenancies for key workers.
Negotiations currently in progress with Housing
Association.
Space allocation is being re-planned throughout Completed January
the Civic Centre on a reduced allocation of 6.252006
sq. m. per person. This, allied to introduction of
hot desking and home working, is intended to
raise occupancy levels to 2,000 staff by March
2006. This will provide accommodation for the
staff relocations from 855 Uxbridge Road,
Hillingdon and Harlington Road Depot.
