Conference to launch “Ethics Guidance for Occupational Health Practice”
To mark the launch of the new “Ethics Guidance for Occupational Health Practice”, the Faculty
is running a conference featuring presentations by several of the authors of the new ethics
guidance.
This new publication, which replaces the 6th Edition of Guidance on Ethics for Occupational
Physicians, is an indispensable guide to major ethical questions which face occupational
health practitioners today and will be of interest to lawyers, employers, trades unions and
human resources personnel alike.
As part of the registration fee, all delegates will receive a copy of the new publication, worth
£25.
The day will feature presentations on aspects of the document and a wide variety of ethical
issues, including legal, governance and workplace health and wellbeing; in addition there
will be two interactive sessions during which an expert panel will discuss ethical scenarios
including those submitted by the delegates. The audience will also get the chance to interact
and give opinions using electronic voting buttons and the results will be available for the
purposes of stimulating discussion.
When completing your booking form, we would ask you to submit an ethical question or
dilemma you would like to see discussed by the panel on the appropriate section of the form.
