iley’s unspoilt town has seen generations of families
take their annual holiday in this beautiful area of
Yorkshire’s heritage coast.
There is much for the family to do, from exploring the rock pools on the
Filey Brigg, walking along the cliff tops, learning about Filey’s fishing cobles
that still set out from the beach, visiting the surrounding villages or just
spending the day having fun building sandcastles and paddling in the sea.
The pace of life is quieter here but that is not to say that you won’t find bars,
restaurants and cafes all wanting to tempt you with international cuisine as
well as offering the more traditional seaside fayre such as fish and chips,
candyfloss and ice-cream.
Filey is the ideal place for that ‘get away from it all’ break that you can take at
any time of the year.
