Design Air curtain
The Arcus Air Curtain is designed for
revolving doors only.
The problem with revolving doors is due
to their method of operation, every time
someone enters or leaves the building
using this opening then cold air is pulled
in from outside whilst the heated air in
the room is pushed outside. This forms a
cold area around the entrance system and
depending on the speed of rotation the
area can extend a fair distance into the
building.
In the past standard air curtains were used
for revolving doors but they never satisfied
the comfort requirements for the
space. Thanks to its technological innovation,
design and good looks, the Arcus Air
Curtain takes care of both the design and
performance requirements.
The Arcus is fitted with a special acoustic
outlet aperture to ensure the optimisation
of the airflow coverage area and noise
around the door opening.
The Arcus unit can only be mounted in
the vertical position adjacent to or both
sides of a door opening but can facilitate
different types of door openings and widths.
The air curtain with its special curved
design for visual and safety aspects is suitable
for Hotel, Airport, Supermarket and
Office entrances.
More stylish appearance is achieved by
using materials such as stainless steel or,
if required, painted in accordance with
a RAL number.
With a solid base plate this guarantees
great stability at all times and allows for
hidden electrics and pipework. Upon
request we can provide units with top or
side connections.
