Introduction 

Dear Customer, 

Stavoklima s.r.o. is an innovative, privately owned company. It is 

an entirely Czech manufacturer of ventilation, air conditioning 

and acoustic products. 

The door and entrance air curtains became the dominant products 

from the very beginning of the company. The whole of 

today’s portfolio offers products from BASIC units, with easy and 

simple installation, to our DESIGN range, satisfying even very 

exacting requirements of modern interior needs. 

Our units have always been the epitome of technique and quality. 

Long-term testing and the right choice of the suppliers/partner 

companies have resulted in fast improvements and technical 

solutions, many of which are patented. Every little item is custom 

developed with innovative technologies used by well-experienced 

and trained staff and it keeps us ahead of the competition 

with the ultimate in high-tech designs and standards. 

During the ongoing development of control and management 

functions of our equipment, the electronic controls became an 

inseparable part of our functionality. 

All our appliances are manufactured according to engineering 

design in CAD/CAM solutions by our new advanced technological 

machinery. 

Manufacture and a complete range of the latest simulation tools 

allow our state-of-the-art, purpose designed software to ensure 

100% compliance with the latest regulations and customer needs, 

to ensure maximum durability of the equipment and components.

RATUS 

Software RATUS 

Stavoklima was the first (in 2006) to enter the market with a full selection programme 

– Ratus – for calculation of air curtain protection requirements with a minimum of 

input design criteria. 

Try to design an air curtain using our company software. Our selection programme 

– Ratus – is easy to use (see below). 

The programme is produced as FIRMWARE for both general and professional use. 

Choice of the curtain is generated from the basic input data. The programme allows 

input of hot water criteria and selection of the appropriate and required control equipment. 

You can also obtain from the programme documentation to create a technical 

specification. 

The resulting proposal can be printed or exported.

Li 

Comfort Air Curtains 

Comfort Air Curtains Type Li are the most 

economical and widely used product in 

our complete range. The Li is very versatile 

in most commercial applications and 

with its very stylish design can be used in 

shops, stores, shopping centres, offices, 

receptions and hospitals. 

These units are in harmony with both the 

aesthetically pleasing appearance and 

their performance, when needed to fulfil 

rigorous conditions with various control 

methods. 

Our method of design and construction 

ensures your client obtains a highly reliable 

unit, whilst installation can be performed 

very quickly on site. Our Air Curtains 

form a natural air screen against the ingress 

of outside cold air in winter keeping the 

space temperature comfortable with 

minimal energy requirements and can be 

used for the opposite effect in summer. 

The Comfort Li units also protect from 

outside odours, insects and dust, again 

creating a healthier working environment. 

The fitting of these units ensures clients 

needs are fulfilled in all aspects, whilst 

being energy efficient and meeting 

various comfort conditions and control. 

Comfort Li units are available in various 

colours with the standard finish being 

RAL 7047 with the adapter colour of RAL 

7045. For other colours please see page 

9 or state a RAL number and request costs 

from our sales office. 

For installation applications the Comfort 

Li units can be fitted horizontally (above a 

door opening) or vertically (adjacent to 

the door opening) in either exposed or 

recessed positions. Various heating options 

are available along with a wide range 

of accessories to ensure our product can 

meet your specific environment.

Static advertising ”SR” 

If required door air curtains Li can be delivered with a static advertising banner 

positioned on the front panel of the unit. The marketing value of the unit can 

help to offset the investment of the door air curtain. 

Easy exchange of marketing banners ensures advertising flexibility. 

Dynamic advertising ”DR” 

The use of TFT opens a new dimension in the use of the air curtain. It creates 

a very unconventional marketing display which ensures very effective advertising 

by its unusual positioning. 

It also reduces the need for other multimedia devices because the unit itself entirely 

replaces other standard marketing tools. Connection compatibility of the 

system allows the device to become a part of the local marketing network. 

Display advertising 

The display is an additional item mounted on the front panel of the Li air curtain. 

It can be changed easily by a computer to facilitate marketing trends, sales activity 

and promotions.

are a further development of the most 

popular Li range.

By use of an extensive range of plenums 

and accessories both the Li and Li EC can 

be surface mounted or recessed into 

suspended ceilings. Recessed units are 

most common where the space between 

the ceiling and top of the door opening 

is limited or design requirements dictate 

this method of installation. 

Various recessed unit methods can be 

used, from fully exposed casing or front 

panel visible visible, to fully recessed 

units with only the inlet and discharge 

grilles being visible in the suspended 

ceiling above the door opening. 

Specific room and door opening criteria 

will decide the mounting height of the 

three versions of the unit. Please refer to

Li - Dualflow 

Comfort Air Curtains with dual air outlet 

Comfort air curtains which utilise both 

heated air and recirculates the room air 

into dual discharge air flows are called 

Dualflow units. This type of unit is a realistic 

energy saving product developed 

from good in depth knowledge of client’s 

requirements and pure common 

sense. It is not ingenious but realistic to 

understand that by using some of the 

pre-heated space air and then supplying 

a required amount of heat treated air the 

client can gain significant cost savings 

on energy. 

Dualflow units take the popular Comfort 

Li air curtains and adds an extra recirculation 

air chamber. Again, by use of our 

most economical and widely used product 

in our range. 

This type of unit is very versatile in most 

commercial applications and with its 

very stylish design can be used in shops, 

stores, shopping centres, offices, receptions, 

municipal buildings and hospitals. 

These units are in harmony with both 

the aesthetic appearance and performance 

when needed to fulfil rigorous 

conditions with various control methods. 

Dualflow units are available in various

The Econ C unit is specially designed to 

be either recessed into a suspended ceiling 

or fitted with a painted case for surface 

mounting. Econ C units offer a balanced 

ratio of performance whilst offering 

a great price. This unit is similar to our 

standard Econ units but can be installed 

into such applications as Banks, Building 

Societies, Shops, Assembly Halls, Showrooms 

and Leisure Centres. 

Available in either low pressure hot water 

or electric models, or as simple ambient 

units, with galvanized body and anodized 

inlet and outlet grilles. 

The ease of control of the unit is achieved 

by use of the Econ or Econ Dual controllers. 

This ensures a high level of customer 

comfort and regulation. 

With a great price, simple and easy fitting 

methods, low noise level and use of reliable

The Compact 400 was designed mainly for 

installation alongside automated sliding 

doors or small revolving doors. The Air 

Curtain design with its compact nature 

blends in with the door design to offer a 

good integrated solution to the ingress of 

outside air penetrating into the space when 

the doors open. 

The shape of the unit imitates the shape of 

a narrow column with its small diameter of 

400mm to ensure a great integration with 

the door whilst offering good protection. 

Also against incoming outside odours, 

insects and dust, again creating a healthier 

working environment. The fitting of these 

units ensures clients’ needs are fulfilled in all 

aspects, whilst being energy efficient and 

providing various comfort conditions. 

The Compact 400 unit can only be mounted 

in the vertical position adjacent to or both 

sides of a door opening but can facilitate 

different types of door openings and widths. 

The air curtain is suitable for Hotel, Airport, 

Supermarket and Office entrances. Even 

greater aesthetics can be achieved by 

adding a brushed stainless steel cover (sold 

separately). 

With a solid base plate this guarantees great 

stability at all times and allows for hidden 

electrics and pipework. Upon request we

Arcus 


The Arcus Air Curtain is designed for 

revolving doors only. 

The problem with revolving doors is due 

to their method of operation, every time 

someone enters or leaves the building 

using this opening then cold air is pulled 

in from outside whilst the heated air in 

the room is pushed outside. This forms a 

cold area around the entrance system and 

depending on the speed of rotation the 

area can extend a fair distance into the 

building. 

In the past standard air curtains were used 

for revolving doors but they never satisfied 

the comfort requirements for the 

space. Thanks to its technological innovation, 

design and good looks, the Arcus Air 

Curtain takes care of both the design and 

performance requirements. 

The Arcus is fitted with a special acoustic 

outlet aperture to ensure the optimisation 

of the airflow coverage area and noise 

around the door opening. 

The Arcus unit can only be mounted in 

the vertical position adjacent to or both 

sides of a door opening but can facilitate 

different types of door openings and widths. 

The air curtain with its special curved 

design for visual and safety aspects is suitable 

for Hotel, Airport, Supermarket and 

Office entrances. 

More stylish appearance is achieved by 

using materials such as stainless steel or,

The Arcus-X Air Curtain with its modern 

design and slim curved shape is an ideal 

complement for most automatic doors. The 

Arcus-X will provide a good energy saving in 

respect of heating buildings during cold 

weather. 

The discharge chamber of the Arcus-X 

is acoustically isolated to ensure a quiet 

running unit giving a significant noise

blade outlet grille ensures constant and

The Tubex Air Curtain is specifically 

designed and constructed for door installations 

with high demands and special 

needs. With a very good price to performance 

ratio the Tubex unit is ideal for 

a wide range of applications. 

The Tubex unit can only be mounted in 

the vertical position either adjacent to or 

both sides of a door opening and can 

facilitate different types of door opening 

specific heights and widths. All units are 

fitted with an adjustable air discharge 

grille as standard. 

With a solid anchor/base plate this guarantees 

great stability at all times and 

allows for bottom hidden electrics and 

pipework. Upon demand we can provide 

units with top or side connections. 

Tubex units are available in stainless steel 

or powder coated with the casing and 

outlet grille in various colours (see page 

41w). For other colours please state a RAL 

number and request costs from our sales 

office. 

Tubex CON is a special unit for use with 

a remote supplied Filter/Fan/Heater unit,

Axi Industrial Air Curtains are very popular 

due to high performance and robust 

units. When you have workplaces that 

have frequently used and often open 

doors that are metres high, that create 

very large cold air draughts and huge 

energy loss, then you need units with 

great performance to match. 

The Axi air curtain system from Stavoklima 

is designed for use in all industrial areas 

and will offer the end client significant 

energy cost savings with low running 

costs. 

The Axi unit is very good value for money 

when connected to our latest control 

options. It is a very reliable and versatile 

unit using axial fans and can be mounted 

either horizontally or vertically. 

This unit is suitable for most industrial 

applications and with its very stylish 

design it can be used in loading bays, 

forklift entrances and workshops operating 

24/7 if required. 

The Axi unit can be fitted with steam, high 

or low pressure heat exchangers or electrical 

heating coils or used just as an ambient 

door curtain. If required it is possible 

to operate with gas heating units added 

as a secondary system (not part of our 

unit). 

Axi units are available in various colours 

with the standard finish being galvanised 

or RAL 7035. For other colours please 

state a RAL number and request costs 

from our sales office.

Time Clock: this allows the unit to operate on a weekly 

regime, either with day’s 1-7 or 1-5 with 6-7 separate. 

Frost protection: For each water heated unit there is an 

inbuilt 2 grades anti-frost protection as standard. in case 

of freezing danger it will open the valveand switch on 

visual signallization. 

Indication of the room and outlet temperature: the 

regulator shows the room, outlet and also required temperature 

as standard. 

Unit temperature control: the Ditronic controller allows 

control of the air curtain temperature according to the 

room or discharge air temperature. to ensure comfort 

there is an inbuilt function to restrict the minimum/discharge 

temperature simultaneously. 

Intelligent System – BMS (3-levels): the air Curtains can 

be controlled by an intelligent controller with 3 levels of 

inbuilt control of the coil and fans. the BmS (Building 

management system) can operate via volt free contacts 

(0-10v) or linked to a bus system. 


Unit monitoring and Fault signals: the controller operates 

volt free contacts for failure and operation of the air 

Curtain. an alarm will sound on failure and a fault log can 

be accessed. 

Exterior Thermostat control: Using an exterior thermostat 

(mostly placed outside) it is possible to switch off the 

air curtain or just the heating, according to your required 

level of control and pre-set temperature settings. 

Master/Slave operation: it is possible to connect units in 

a master/slave mode of operation. For this a room sensor 

will only be connected to the master unit. 

Automatic operation of the Air Curtain: the air Curtain can 

operate in automatic running mode via door contacts. When the 

door is closed the unit can be made to run on a low speed level 

for the heating and the fan. Upon opening the door the unit will 

run on pre-set levels already entered into the controller. 

Controller security: to ensure maximum security of the 

controller it is fitted with a keyboard lock facility.
