Het plasmascherm mag alleen worden geopend door deskundig technisch<br />
personeel.<br />

Als u de fout niet kunt opsporen, of als het probleem na vervanging van het<br />
onderdeel niet verholpen is, neem dan contact op met het nationale Service<br />
Center voor technische ondersteuning.<br />
Gebruik<br />
Het product reinigen<br />
Het plasmascherm moet altijd verticaal worden neergezet om beschadiging te<br />
voorkomen.<br />
Er bestaat grote kans op beschadiging als het plasmascherm horizontaal<br />
wordt neergezet.<br />
Zet het plasmascherm zoveel mogelijk in de servicestandaard.<br />
Gebruik nooit alcohol of andere oplosmiddelen om onderdelen van<br />
het product te reinigen!<br />
Gebruik witte handschoenen om te voorkomen dat het contrastscherm vuil wordt.<br />
Stof verwijdert u van de buitenkant met een zachte, droge doek of een<br />
microvezeldoek. Vetvlekken en hardnekkig vuil verwijdert u met een zachte en<br />
pluisvrije doek, die u eerst in water met een beetje afwasmiddel dompelt en<br />
vervolgens goed uitwringt.<br />
Voor een optimale beeldkwaliteit zorgt u ervoor dat er op het beeldscherm geen<br />
resten of strepen van het reinigingsmiddel achterblijven.<br />
Inbranden<br />
Er bestaat risico op inbranden als een stilstaand beeld langer dan ongeveer 30<br />
minuten op het plasmascherm wordt weergegeven.<br />

Statische elektriciteit kan het product beschadigen.<br />
Antistatische mat met polsband.<br />
Gebruik bij het demonteren van het product of het hanteren van modules altijd de<br />
antistatische mat met polsband.<br />
Volg de instructies in de handleiding en leg zowel de nieuwe als de oude modules<br />
op de antistatische mat.<br />
NB:<br />
Koppel voordat u de televisie op het stopcontact aansluit eerst de verbinding<br />
tussen het plasmascherm en de antistatische mat los.<br />
Chassis of modules moeten altijd zijn aangesloten op de antistatische mat met<br />
polsband of in een antistatische zak worden geplaatst.<br />
Symbool voor veiligheidsonderdelen<br />
Bij het vervangen van onderdelen met dit symbool moet hetzelfde type en<br />
dezelfde ohm- en watt-waarden worden gebruikt.<br />
Het nieuwe onderdeel moet op dezelfde wijze worden gemonteerd als het<br />
vervangen onderdeel.

Vraag de klant het defect te tonen of duidelijk uit te leggen.<br />

Controleer of<br />
De test installeren<br />
het product is ingesteld op de juiste optie;<br />
alle kabels correct zijn aangesloten;<br />
de netspanning is ingeschakeld;<br />
alle externe bronnen correct zijn aangesloten en of de instellingen correct zijn.<br />
Sluit de volgende producten aan om de test te kunnen installeren: de BeoVision 4,<br />
een BeoSystem en een dvd-speler.<br />

Problemen oplossen<br />
Dit programma kunt u vinden in BeoWise in het Bang & Olufsen Retail System,<br />
samen met een PowerPoint-presentatie met enkele testpatronen (zie<br />
productgerelateerde software).<br />
Voordat u het plasmascherm demonteert<br />
Controleer het plasmascherm op inbranden en pixelfouten!<br />
Deze controle is zeer belangrijk wanneer het plasmascherm voor reparatie naar<br />
een werkplaats moet worden vervoerd.<br />
Zie Pixeltest plasmascherm, pagina 2.1.<br />
Haal, voordat u het plasmascherm demonteert, de stekker van het plasmascherm<br />
uit het stopcontact en wacht minimaal 1 minuut totdat de elektrolytische<br />
condensatoren zijn ontladen.<br />
Sluit de antistatische mat aan.
Pixeltest plasmascherm 2.1<br />
Pixeltest plasmascherm<br />
Met de pixeltest controleert u de status van het plasmascherm met betrekking tot het aantal defecte pixels<br />
<strong>ABO</strong>-<strong>CENTER</strong> v/<strong>HENRIKSENS</strong> <strong>ELEKTRONIK</strong><br />
De test moet worden gebruikt:<br />
- Voordat u het product voor reparatie naar een werkplaats voor plasmaschermen vervoert<br />
- Voor en na servicehandelingen aan het plasmascherm<br />
Het doel van deze test is te bepalen of er defecte pixels in het<br />
plasmascherm zitten.<br />
Zie “Standaard paneeldefecten” om te zien of een defecte pixel aanleiding is voor<br />
het vervangen van het plasmascherm.<br />
Als het plasmascherm in een aluminium frontframe is bevestigd, richt dan de NNafstandsbediening<br />
op de opening aan de voorzijde links onder op het<br />
plasmascherm. Zie ➢2.<br />
- Raadpleeg de afbeeldingen voor:<br />
- De locatie van de toetsen op de NN-afstandsbediening.<br />
- Activeer de servicemodus.<br />
Druk op de standby-toets op de NN-afstandsbediening om het plasmascherm<br />
aan te zetten.<br />
Gebruik een dun gereedschap of een pen om de openingen FD en vervolgens FE<br />
op de NN-afstandsbediening in te drukken. CAT Panel menu (servicemodus) wordt<br />
afgebeeld.<br />
- Kies IIC mode.<br />
Verplaats de cursor met de pijltjes omhoog/omlaag op de NN-afstandsbediening<br />
en kies met ”OK”.<br />
- Kies Aging.<br />
Gebruik de pijltjes omhoog/omlaag om “Aging” te vinden. Kies met “OK”.<br />
- Testbeeld wijzigen.<br />
Om het testbeeld te wijzigen drukt u op ”OK”.<br />
- Pixeltest plasmascherm.<br />
Gebruik de testbeelden RED, GREEN en BLUE om de pixels te controleren.<br />
- Verlaat de servicemodus.<br />
Druk twee keer op “R” om terug te gaan naar CAT Panel menu.<br />
Druk op “C” om CAT Panel menu te verlaten.<br />

2.2 Pixeltest plasmascherm<br />
Standaard paneeldefecten<br />
Crosstalk (Overspraak)<br />
Definitie: Overspraak is interferentie tussen pixels tijdens het weergeven van de<br />
primaire RGB-kleuren of 2 of meer gemengde kleuren waardoor pixels gaan<br />
branden zonder dat dat moet.<br />
Lichtgevende plek<br />
Geen licht afgevende cel<br />
Definitie: Wanneer een cel helder brandt terwijl het scherm helemaal zwart is.<br />
Definitie: Wanneer er geen ontlading in de cellen (display discharge) plaatsvindt.<br />
Er is echter alleen sprake van een geen licht afgevende cel als deze niet 50% of<br />
meer kan branden.<br />

Met de zelftest kunt u de status controleren van de circuits die op de IIC-bus zijn aangesloten<br />
Als het plasmascherm in een aluminium frontframe is bevestigd, richt dan de NNafstandsbediening<br />
op de opening aan de voorzijde links onder op het<br />
plasmascherm. Zie ➢5.<br />
- Raadpleeg de afbeelding voor:<br />
- De locatie van de toetsen op de NN-afstandsbediening.<br />
- Druk op de standby-toets op de NN-afstandsbediening om het plasmascherm<br />

Wijzig PCB J als een van de volgende IC’s defect is: IC2303, IC3003, IC3004,<br />
IC3005, IC3006, IC8181.<br />
- Verlaat de zelftestmodus.<br />
Druk op “Standby” op de NN-afstandsbediening en vervolgens op Standby op<br />

Testen en regelen na vervanging van de module(s)<br />
Voordat u begint met regelen<br />
- Sluit de antistatische mat NIET op het plasmascherm aan.<br />

- Stel het plasmascherm in voor het ontvangen van een beeld, bijv. door een intern<br />
beeld te genereren. Zie Pixeltest plasmascherm, pagina 2.1.<br />

Isolatietest<br />
Als een set gedemonteerd is geweest, moet u achteraf een isolatietest uitvoeren.<br />
Voer deze test uit als de set weer in elkaar is gezet en klaar is voor verzending naar<br />
de klant.<br />
Tijdens de testprocedure mogen geen flashovers plaatsvinden!<br />
Voer de isolatietest als volgt uit:<br />
Sluit de twee netstekkerpennen kort en verbind deze met een van de<br />
aansluitingen van de isolatietester. De andere aansluiting op de aarde van de<br />
antenne-ingang aansluiten.<br />
LET OP!<br />
Om te voorkomen dat de set beschadigd raakt, is het belangrijk dat de twee<br />
aansluitingen van de isolatietester goed contact maken.<br />
Draai de spanningsregelaar van de isolatietester langzaam omhoog tot een<br />
spanning van 2,5 kV ac en max. 10 mA.<br />
Houd deze spanning één seconde aan en draai de spanningsregelaar dan weer<br />
langzaam tot 0 V ac terug.<br />
Laatste controle na reparatie<br />
Voer de zelftest uit voordat u het plasmascherm opnieuw in het product installeert<br />
(zie pagina 2.3).

Voordat u het plasmascherm demonteert<br />
Haal, voordat u het plasmascherm demonteert, de stekker van het plasmascherm<br />
uit het stopcontact en wacht minimaal<br />
1 minuut totdat de elektrolytische condensatoren zijn ontladen.<br />
Sluit de antistatische mat aan.<br />
Volg, nadat u een of meer modules in het plasmascherm hebt vervangen, de testen<br />
regelprocedure zoals beschreven in “Testen en regelen na vervanging van<br />
module(s)” op pagina 4.2.<br />
OPMERKING<br />

Het contrastscherm vervangen<br />
Interne kabels in het plasmascherm.<br />
Wees voorzichtig met het lostrekken van de kabels uit de ingangen.<br />

Gebruik bij het schoonmaken van het plasmascherm geen reinigingsmiddelen.<br />
