ANDY CLOCKWISE
Genre: Pop Rock
Bio: Who is Andy Clockwise?
Is he or is he not a
Scientologist? Does he
really speak robot? And
why will you be seeing him
selling out LA’s Hotel Café
time after time? Will he blast away the
incertitude which haunted LA last year, will he
help you forget another night? Is he the new
rock and roll/ elctronic pop hero and is he
here to save? Andy loves each and every one
of us all. He says so. Kingly, charismatic,
all-loving, and kind, Andy comes from an
innocent time when songs repaired broken
hearts, or broken social identities, or even
broken governments. Going to an Andy
Clockwise show is like invading the medicine
show. What is it he’s selling anyway? It’s a
revival of sentiment. It’s okay to feel again, and
to feel foolish, and self-aware, and it’s okay to
keep coming back for more and feel the
music again!
BIRDS OF TOKYO
Genre: Rock/ Alternate Rock
Bio: Beautifully expressive in its
texture, yet thick and rich in
its deceptive simplicity;
struck a nerve in their homeland, giving way to
an unprecedented rise to popularity, but it is in
their blossoming international recognition can
be seen the band’s true strength and ability to
connect with people. And, at the end of the day,
that’s why we make music to begin with… to
connect with one another, convey and share
emotions and expression, and bring ourselves
closer to understanding how truly rare and
precious we all are. Music to be shared and
