1. WHO WE ARE
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), successor to the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka
(BCCSL) at No.35, Maitland Place, Colombo 07, Sri Lanka, is the governing body for Sri
Lanka’s most popular sport – Cricket.
Being the governing body of Cricket in Sri Lanka, we function with the vision to develop
every facet of the game and strive to set an example to other Cricket Boards around the world
with our high standards and level of commitment towards the sport and our country.
Today in Sri Lanka, cricket appreciation at its best is hailed as a force of national unity, a
testament to the plural, multi-ethnic, multi-linguistic, and multi-religious country that we are.
Cricket is not just a sport; it is a way of life.

2. INVITATION FOR SPONSORSHIP
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) at 35, Maitland Place, Colombo 7, Sri Lanka is pleased to invite
offers from interested parties to submit their offers / proposals for sponsorship as the
“Official SLC Annual Awards Ceremony Sponsor”.
The Annual Awards Ceremony is held to recognize outstanding performances of individual
players and club teams in the domestic tournaments during the past season and the national
players in the International cricketing arena.
Domestic tournaments include Under-23, Women’s Limited over& Twenty 20, Donovan
Andre, Sara League & Limited Over, Premier Tier – A & B League and Limited Over.
Awards for performances at international level are presented to categories: Under-19,
Women’s ODI, Men’s Test, Men’s ODI, Emerging Cricketers and Cricketer of the Year etc.
3. SCOPE OF SPONSORSHIP
The scope of this Invitation for Sponsorship is limited to the SLC Annual Awards
Ceremonies during 2013 to 2015, a longer period could be considered. The Offer submitted is
subject to fulfillment of basic requirements and Sri Lanka Cricket shall reserve the right to
accept offers in consultation with the interested sponsor.
4. SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE EXPECTED
Part or full payment of 8,000,000 LKR (8 Million) per annum.

5. SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS
The sponsor shall enjoy all benefits of sponsorship subject to the terms and conditions as
herein set out and such rights and benefits as shall be in accordance with the guidelines of
SLC applicable during events.
‣ Sponsor’s corporate / brand logo or trade mark will be featured on SLC website.
‣ The Sponsor’s corporate/ brand logo or trade mark will be embedded in all SLC email
transmissions during the sponsorship period.
‣ Availment of 15 complimentary tickets (general) for all bi-lateral tours played in Sri
Lanka.
‣ The sponsor will be granted rights to use SLC logo in all its stationery, promotional
material, campaigns, literature etc during the Period.
The sponsor may propose additional benefits that they wish to offer SLC.
6. SUBMISSION OF OFFERS / PROPOSALS
Bids shall only be submitted by the Organization / Company / Firm. The bid must be signed
by two officers of the Organization / Company / Firm who have the necessary authority as
per the Memorandum and Articles of Association. Offers submitted by third parties on behalf
of clients would be considered but the contract would be signed directly with the successful
sponsor/partner only.
All offers/proposals should be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “OFFER FOR
SPONSORSHIP OF SLC ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY” and addressed to CEO, Sri
Lanka Cricket, No 35, Maitland Place, Colombo 7 before 3.00 p.m. on 24 th June 2013.

7. SPONSORSHIP VALUE
Bidders are requested to indicate clearly the value of their offer for the sponsorship. All
sponsorship fees would also be subject to VAT being added and payable which is
subsequently reclaimable for which a Tax Invoice would be issued by the SLC.
8. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE
The offer must comply with all clauses, sub-clauses and specifications adhering to the format
of this Invitation of Offers for Sponsorship and include a Statement of Compliance in the
proposal clearly indicating that the proposed sponsorship offer comply with all such
requirements.
9. ALTERNATIVE OFFERS
Alternative offers / additional benefits to secure the sponsorship. However, any additional
benefits would only be considered in the evaluation of bids subject to the bid complying with
minimum requirement specified herein. SLC also reserves the right to accept or reject any
alternative offers without adducing any reason whatsoever.
10. AWARD OF SPONSORSHIP CONTRACT
Upon evaluation of offer received, SLC will award the sponsorship provided it meets the
expected financial consideration, subject to fulfilling all conditions stipulated herein.
The sponsor shall enter in to a formal legal contract incorporating the various terms and
conditions including the sponsor benefits.
