Corporate Secretary – WICB, Antigua<br />

The individual will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for all aspects of legal<br />

and corporate governance of the Company.<br />

In particular, the individual will be responsible for all aspects of matters relating to the Board of Directors<br />

and shareholder meetings and ensuring that the Company is in compliance with all statutory matters in<br />

each of the jurisdictions in which it operates.<br />

Requirements:<br />

• A law degree OR a professional qualification as a Chartered Secretary.<br />

• At least five (5) years of experience as a Corporate Secretary or similar governance position in a<br />

large sized organisation.<br />

• Demonstrated experience in developing policies, procedures and/or corporate practices.<br />

• Demonstrated knowledge of board governance, best practices, protocols and procedures.<br />

• Superior influencing and persuasion skills combined with integrity, discretion and<br />

professionalism.<br />

• Broad understanding of the Sports Management industry.<br />

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Power Point).<br />

Manager, <strong>Cricket</strong> Development - WICB, Antigua<br />

The individual will report to the Director, <strong>Cricket</strong> and will be responsible for the creation,<br />

implementation and management of the WICB’s cricket development programmes.<br />

In particular, the individual will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution and management of<br />

core development programmes through a single integrated and effective delivery network across<br />

territories in line with the goals and objectives of the WICB’s strategy for cricket.<br />

Requirements:<br />

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business management or business administration.<br />

• Coaching Accreditation would be an asset.


• At least (5) years of experience in similar role in sports or cricket development.<br />

• Proven experience in strategic planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluating systems<br />

and processes.<br />

• Strong leadership and management skills.<br />

• Project management skills.<br />

• Strong analytical can creative problem solving skills.<br />

• Proven ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds.<br />

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite) and Coaching Software (Silicon Coach, Sports Code,<br />

etc.).<br />

Head Coach - Sagicor WICB High Performance Centre, Barbados<br />

The individual will report to the Director, <strong>Cricket</strong> and will be responsible for facilitating talent<br />

identification and the development of players through the planning and implementation of programmes<br />

which produce team excellence, accelerated individual skill enhancement and preparation and readiness<br />

for selection to West Indies teams.<br />

In particular, the individual will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all specialist cricket training<br />

and skills coaching through the effective management of coaches and other supporting specialists; the<br />

efficient deployment of resources and supplies; and the preparation and control of all budgets for<br />

approved activities and programmes.<br />

Requirements:<br />

• Level III <strong>Cricket</strong> Coaching Accreditation or international equivalent.<br />

• At least (5) years working experience in a similar cricketing role OR ten (10) years experience in<br />

Sports Management working with elite cricketers.<br />

• Evidence of successfully coaching athletes to the standard required for selection to national<br />

and/or regional teams.<br />

• Strong planning, organising and executing skills.<br />

• Highly competent strategic and operational planner.<br />

• Strong leadership and management skills.<br />

• Proven ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds.<br />

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite -) Coaching Software (Silicon Coach, Sports Code, etc.).<br />
