<strong>Saginaw</strong> is one of three <strong>Michigan</strong> school<br />

districts selected to pilot the <strong>Michigan</strong><br />

<strong>Scholars</strong> Program, which is designed to<br />

raise the academic bar for all high school<br />

students. The program was designed<br />

to encourage students to complete<br />

challenging courses during high school<br />

that will prepare them for quality jobs or<br />

higher education after graduation.<br />

concept, which brings learning to life.<br />

Students learn real life skills by working<br />

in business ventures, government<br />

agencies and cultural organizations,<br />

all which are created and operated by<br />

Loomis Math, Science &<br />

Technology Academy<br />

A new state of the art facility with a<br />

unique mission: to provide students in<br />

grades Pre-K through 5 with the math<br />

and science foundation they will need<br />

to compete in today’s high-tech world.<br />

The school is open to all students in<br />

<strong>Saginaw</strong> County. There are no entrance<br />

Single Gender Education<br />

Longfellow Elementary provides singlegender<br />

education in grades PreK-5.<br />

<strong>Saginaw</strong> Career Complex. Coursework<br />

ranges from business technology<br />

to medical careers to engineering/<br />

computer drafting and is designed to<br />

prepare students for rewarding careers<br />

Academy<br />

Offering full and half day middle and<br />

high school programs for gifted/<br />
