FIRE PROTECTION PERFORMANCE<br />
CERTIFIED FIRE PROTECTION. The Remington Fire Protection Package is one of the<br />
finest available. Remington offers 3 levels of Fire Protection. 30 minute rated safes are factory certified<br />
for 30 minutes at a full 1200° outside temperature with the internal temperatures not to exceed 350°<br />
during that period. 45 <strong>and</strong> 60 minute safes are Omega Point Laboratory tested at either 45 minutes or<br />
60 minutes at a full 1200° outside temperature with the interior not exceeding 350° during that period.<br />
To achieve such performance, we install multiple layers of 5 /8" fire insulation, along with a Palusol, ®<br />
fire-seal door gasket that exp<strong>and</strong>s seven times it’s original size to effectively seal out heat <strong>and</strong> gases.<br />
