ILT Skills Based Programme
In the first term of 2009, year 2 and 3 students from Windsor North and Waihopai attended the programme. They focused
on developing and improving throwing, catching and striking with the foot as well as balance, locomotor and stability skills,
which were incorporated into their warm ups and warm downs.
“The teachers have noticed a definite improvement in the children’s skill level after
attending the programme and are able to see the new skills being applied during
playground games at school”
Sally Crawford (Teacher at Windsor North)
“Thank you all—we would love to bring more children back in the future”
Lisa Christie (Teacher at Windsor North)
“All sessions were fantastic, were so much fun, the way P.E should be!”
Pam Chilton (Teacher at Windsor North)
We welcome Invercargill Middle, Sacred Heart and Ruru School into the ILT Skills
