EXCEL D and BASEX D

EXCEL D and BASEX D
This year Soredex introduces a range of new
features for the highly acclaimed CRANEX
digital panoramic X-ray units. These new
features make the units even easier to use
and enhance the acquisition of diagnostic
information - highly developed features that
have been improved even more. The objective
is to produce optimal usability and imaging
results with less effort from the user.

EXCEL D, BASEX D
MiniDose function
The new MiniDose function ensures that patients receive
the minimum x-ray dose, while the image quality remains
first class. The technical factors are a constant 65 kV, 6 mA,
and there are no adjustments on the control panel, because
the CCD sensor is extremely sensitive and the advanced
electronics and software guarantee the correct exposure. This
makes using CRANEX digital units even easier than before.
There is no need to select exposure values for
different patients
– the exposure dose is minimal for every patient and no
retakes are normally needed. Just position the patient,
press the exposure button and a perfectly exposed
image will appear on the computer screen.
The AE function
The software of the digital CCD sensor automatically adjusts
the image data distribution so that dense and soft tissue
structures of the anatomy become more visible. This
Automatic Equalization feature reduces the need for
further image manipulations and adjustments; the original
image that appears on the computer screen can normally be
used directly as a basis for diagnosis. Time can be saved and
clinical efficiency and throughput times can be improved.
0.4 focal spot
A new tube is implemented in the Cranex Excel D model.
A 0.4 focal spot increases the image quality even more.
The smaller focal spot size increases the resolving power of the
unit, so that even very small details become visible and more
diagnostically critical information can be obtained from the
image.
All these new features really do increase the benefits to the users and patients.
The cost-effectiveness of the enhanced CRANEX series is even better than before.
More image information with less radiation.
