KIWI<strong>SPORT</strong><br />

Through Kiwi<strong>Sport</strong>, <strong>Sport</strong> <strong>NZ</strong> has helped its partners<br />

provide more than 500,000 school-aged children with<br />

great sport and recreation opportunities this year.<br />

ACTIVEPOST<br />

<strong>Sport</strong> <strong>NZ</strong> is partnering <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> Post in its ActivePost<br />

programme, aimed at getting more <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong>ers into<br />

sport and recreation, particularly young people.<br />

A STRONG AND CAPABLE SECTOR<br />

The swimming community sought <strong>Sport</strong> <strong>NZ</strong>’s help to get<br />

their sport back onto a sound footing. An independent<br />

review, led by Chris Moller, has set the sport on a new<br />

path, and towards a brighter future.<br />

<strong>NZ</strong> COACHING STRATEGY<br />

In 2012, <strong>Sport</strong> <strong>NZ</strong> launched a <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> Coaching<br />

Strategy and Community <strong>Sport</strong> Coaching Plan, to<br />

support the efforts of our partners to recruit, train and<br />

retain coaches at all levels.<br />
