The Wrest Point State League continues
to deliver some fascinating results and
northern football fans are turning Blue with
delight over the early form of Launceston.
The Windsor Park mob has established an
almost unassailable lead at the top of the
ladder after only 6 rounds. Undefeated
and with a mighty percentage break they
are effectively 3 games clear on top.
Also, with only 1 more game to play in
southern Tasmania against Lauderdale
this weekend, it will be very difficult to
dislodge the Blues from top spot and the
all important home second semi final.
The contest for the remaining births in the
finals is much tougher. However, the 5
southern Clubs are providing each other
with really keen competition currently and
4 of them could realistically fill the other
spots up for grabs in the 2011 finals series.
