C L U B N O T E S | Round 1 Burnie Dockers - 03 6431 1819 President: Peter Vincent Senior Coach: Brent Plant BURNIE Congratulations to JMC and Saunders Higgins Insurance Brokers on last week’s announcement of their continued joint premier sponsorship of the Dockers in 2010. Valued long-term sponsor Dowling McCarthy Tyres has again shown its amazing support of North-West sports becoming jumper sponsor of the Dockers’ Under 15 and 17 teams. All three companies expressed their strong desire to play a major role with the club as it enters a new era. The club is ecstatic with this sensational support but would love the opportunity to speak with any potential partners. Membership and supporter packages are available now with something to suit everyone. Why not reserve a seat in the Langmaid-Lee Room – with the best view of West Park –and match it with a player sponsorship? The Langmaid-Lee Room is limited to 30 members so be quick to claim your prized position. There’s also the outdoor licensed seating on the Bourn Terrace. Check out all the latest developments by visiting www.burniedockers.com.au, by Facebook or by visiting the clubrooms. West Park – the place to be, see & be seen. Clarence Roos - 03 6244 2155 President: Kim Farrow Senior Coach: Brett Geappen CLARENCE Football under lights at Bellerive!!!! That alone should mean a bumper crowd at the opening game but when we throw in a grand final re-match then it is even more mouth-watering. The Clarence Parmic Roos are at home to Glenorchy and with both sides having lost a couple of players and both having recruited well, the game should set the standard for the season. Our Reserves and Under 18 teams will play their first games at KGV Oval at Glenorchy due to the limited access to Bellerive Oval. The Club welcomes new sponsors in Xerox and Bluescope Steel who join major sponsor, Shoreline Hotel, and our naming rights sponsor, Parmic Fire Protection along with Riley Industrial and Marine Sales, RM Worbey Constructions, Brumby’s Mornington Home Hardware, Asset Training, D&H Willis Painting, Groves and Castle Joinery, BioJohn, Moneywise Financial Services, Sports Wizard®, Diagrind, Ampac and HiLite Plaster. Clarence Bingo continues at the Howrah Recreation Centre each Thursday and Sunday. Eyes down at 7.30pm. It promises to be another season of achievement for the Clarence Football Club. www.burniedockers.com.au www.clarencefc.com.au 6
