Welcome to the TCA ground for our fifth home
game of the season against North Launceston,
this is North Launceston’s first trip south for the
year and the second time they have played at the
TCA in this State League. On their last trip to the
TCA we defeated them by 23pts and the boys will
be looking to keep that perfect record today.
Both sides are refreshed and ready to enter the
second half of the season after the week off. If
the form line from our last game is anything to
go by our boys will be a huge chance of winning
against the Bombers and keeping the finals
chance alive.
The girls are also back in action this weekend
after a couple of weeks off. The girls are off to
the North West early on Sunday morning for
a 1pm clash against Spreyton. The girls have
been working hard on the track during the last
few weeks and are raring to go on Sunday. Next
Sunday the girls will be playing before the Colts
and Seniors so please come up that little bit
earlier and support the girls.
Congratulations to our Cara Brooke for
representing Tassie in the recent State Carnival
in Adelaide.

sporting club. These days, it’s the ‘political
clout’ that comes from having a substantial
membership which puts a club in a strong
position.
To this end, the club is embarking on a
membership drive to build the substantial
membership base we need to enter discussions
from a position of strength. We invite (and urge!)
you to immediately renew your membership of
the club. Whether you are a past player or a longtime
supporter, we want you on our membership
books so that we can promote and safeguard this
proud club.
We are so intent on returning membership to
the numbers we had a decade ago, the club
is offering you membership for the balance
of this season and for the next at the current
membership rate. In other words, you get two
years membership for the price of one!
