A win this week in the seniors means that they are 2 games clear of the bottom of the ladder as still within touch of the rest of the ladder. For the Colts this week is a big chance for them to register their first win of the season. A narrow defeat last night will hopefully mean that they will give it everything they have got against the Bulldogs. Hopefully the return of injured players Brad Symmons, Sam Hess and Scott Bennetts should strengthen both sides. We meet again today on your home turf and this is a contest that promises much. Both teams have had good starts and would be keen to go head to head after the season launch where the game had everything a spectator could ask for. These games mean so much to both clubs and hopefully the general public are here today to support their teams. Congratulations to the former Glenorchy players who were apart of the Tassie Devils (VFL) team inducted into the Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame recently. This is a tremendous honour and the induction night is always a great evening. Congratulations to Zac Webb, Braden Barwick and Luke Potter who represented the Tasmanian Football Council last weekend in Adelaide. It is always an honour to play representative football. Well done to our Head Trainer – Dennis Bird who also travelled away with the group.
