Whilst we came away with a win last week against
Devonport, it was not one of our strongest games.
With three wins in a row we now sit 3rd on the
Ladder but we face some tough games in the
coming weeks.
Today we congratulate Allan O’Sign on his 150th
game with the Club. Allan played his first senior
game with North Launceston as a 15 year old
in 2001. In the same year he was named joint
winner of the NTFL best First Year Senior Player.
During the past 10 years Allan has been a
member of the Tassie Mariners and Tassie Devils
teams, was a member of the Under 16 and Under
18 State teams, and was Captain of the Under
23 team which toured Ireland in 2009. Let’s
hope we can get a win today to top off this great
milestone.

vs Launceston commencing at 7.40pm)

what will be an excellent evening as you sit back
and enjoy a great meal and be enthralled by our
Guest Speaker, a former member of the Victorian
Drug Squad who worked in the inner sanctum of
the Underbelly Days. He is also a former cricketer,
footballer and tennis player, having played against
the great John Newcombe. $35.00/head or
$30.00/head for a table of ten. Book early to
avoid disappointment.
