What can we say about last week’s game!
After an extremely slow start and North facing
another loss, the boys picked up the tempo
considerable in the second half of the game to
run out winners by a narrow margin of 8 points.
Well done on a hard fought effort.
We take on South Launceston this week in
another must win game. If we continue with
the integrity that we finished off last week’s
game, it should prove to be a great contest.
Congratulations to Jessie Crichton who made
his senior debut with the Fremantle Dockers
last weekend. Jessie picked up several
possessions, and scored a goal. Unfortunately
they went down to the Bulldogs, but a goal in
your first AFL game is certainly something to be
proud of.
Annual Club Ball
Reminder that the Annual Club Ball will be held
this Saturday 31st July 2010 in the KWMC Blue
Room, Level 2 – Aurora Function Centre. Start
time is 7.00 for 7.30pm. Tickets are available
at the door.

This week we are back fresh after the split
round and looking to finish off on a positive
note for the last three games for the seniors.
But are keen to see our reserves and under
18 really push deep into the finals and gain
some success. We are up against our cross
town rivals, North Launceston, and hoping
to put in a great performance in all three
grades.
A reminder about cheap $7 player’s teas
Thursday night and great counter meals at a
good rate Friday night at Youngtown Oval.
