North Hobart Football Club was founded on<br />
12th May 1881 when a group of men met at<br />
St Kilda House (Hobart) for the purpose of<br />
forming a football club. These men had been<br />
playing 12 a side pickup matches in Smith’s<br />
dairy paddock at the domain end of Campbell<br />
Street and would adjourn to the Waggon &<br />
Horses Hotel after each game for a few drinks.<br />

Game Day President’s Function<br />
Pre-game President’s Function will be held<br />
in the Plaister Stand, every home game in<br />
2011. Bookings to Tanya Obod 0418601510<br />
or David Omant 0408479024 by 12 noon on<br />
the Thursday prior to each game. The guest<br />
speaker for the Clarence game on 21 May is<br />
former Melbourne FC best & fairest, Garry<br />
Baker.<br />

and beyond. The focus for May is to secure<br />
game sponsors and advertising for the 2011<br />
Year Book which will be launched at the home<br />
