Building Our Chinese Community

Our Challenge
There are over 3,000 Triton Family members in the greater China region.

Our Challenge
There are over 3,000 Triton Family members in the greater China region.
…Yet, we only know less than 200 of them.

We need your help
to find them.

Campaign Overview
The vision for this ongoing campaign is to focus on
building and strengthening our Triton Family in the
greater China region.

Campaign Goals
1. Increase awareness of UC San Diego’s efforts in the greater China
region (21 st Century China program – china.ucsd.edu, local events
and ongoing outreach campaign)
2. Build a foundation for a strong UC San Diego Chinese community
3. Establish a connected audience in the greater China region that
justifies UC San Diego investing more into local and regional
programming and events

“UC San Diego is thriving on its greater
China connection! The university now
enrolls more students from the region,
sends more graduates to work there, and
invests more in the study of China than
ever before. You can help to bridge your
alma mater and the region through the
alumni network. It is an exciting time to
get involved.”
Chair, 21 st Century China Program
