UNCLAIMED DIVIDENDS
Pursuant to section 205A of the Companies Act, 1956, unclaimed dividends up to and
including for the financial year 1994-95 have been transferred to the general revenue
account of the Central Government.
The dividends for the following years remaining unclaimed for seven years will be
transferred to Investor Education and Protection Fund established by the Central
Government under section 205C of the Companies Act, 1956. Table 8 gives the transfer
dates. Shareholders who have not claimed these dividends are, therefore, requested to do
so before these are statutorily transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund.
Shareholders who have not cashed their dividend warrants relating to the dividends
specified in Table 8 are requested to immediately approach the Investor Cell of the
Company for issue of duplicate warrants.
