■ BIOTECHNOLOGY DIVISION was
set up in 1998 with a mission to develop a
totally indigenous bio-generics technology
platform that can offer Indian consumers
generic versions of imported therapeutic
recombinant proteins at affordable prices.
■ MADE A CAPITAL INVESTMENT
of Rs. 100 million in this division.
■ RECRUITMENT of a team consisting of
48 members to work in various projects
relating to biotechnology.
■ COMPLETE PRODUCT
DEVELOPMENT capability from
molecular biology, fermentation, protein
purification, cell culture to production at a
