NOTES:
1. Refer Note 5 of schedule 20 in respect of addition to goodwill.
2. Land (freehold) located at Pydibheemavaram allotted by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited valued at Rs. 4,445 is yet to be registered in the name of the Company.
3. In pursuance of an allotment letter (“the letter”) dated October 16, 2001, received from Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (“KIADB”), Aurigene Discovery Technologies Limited
(“Aurigene”), a consolidated subsidiary company, acquired land located at Electronics city, Bangalore, on a lease-cum-sale basis. In terms of the letter, the lease shall be converted into a sale
at the end of six years subject to fulfilment of all the terms and conditions of the allotment.
Pending completion of the period of six years and fulfilment of the terms and conditions of the allotment the amount incurred on the land acquisition aggregating to Rs. 49,729 has been
accounted as lease hold land.
4. The Company owns a Treated Effluent Discharge Pipeline in equal proportion jointly with a third party in Pydibheemavaram pursuant to a mutual agreement.
5. Represents the fixed assets (both gross block and accumulated depreciation) of Reddy Kunshan, which became a subsidiary of the Company during the year (Refer Note 5 of schedule 20).
