OVERVIEW
The latest scientific research, combined with Sunfire’s proven & patented technologies, has resulted in the

couch or even tightly against a wall below a flat screen TV, the SubRosa continues Sunfire's tradition of

I-BEAM anti-shake device to reduce mechanical vibration

WIRING:
In most cases, the SRA-2700EQ amplifier will be located at the head-end (rack). Therefore, a 2-
conductor speaker wire will need to be run from the head-end to each subwoofer location. High quality
12ga or larger, high strand-count speaker wire is recommended. Binding post wall-plates should be used
to trim out the wiring for a clean, professional installation.

APPLICATION #1 – HORIZONTAL, FREE-STANDING WITH CINEMA RIBBON TRIOS
Rooms up to
400 square feet
Placing the subwoofer on its side, up against the wall is ideal for flat
panel displays applications and provides the simplest installation.
Cinema Ribbon Trios are also shown since they are a perfect match
in both styling and finish.

music and movies
Using multiple subwoofers will flatten room response and improve overall bass performance. One SRA-2700EQ

Keep ribbons as close to ear level as possible. CRS-3s may be mounted with ribbon up or down, depending on

APPLICATION #2 – VERTICAL, MOUNTED TO WALL WITH CINEMA RIBBON TRIOS
Rooms 400 sq ft
and larger
SubRosa may also be mounted vertically using the vibration resistant
socket-and-pin wall anchors. This installation is a little more
involved than horizontal mounting, but results in a centerpiece for
the home theater devotee who enjoys showing off his/her <strong>sys</strong>tem.
Cinema Ribbon Trios are also shown since they are a perfect match
in both styling and finish.

Subwoofers are attached to the wall vertically, each using the included wall anchors and ONE of the included feet
mounted to the bottom of each cabinet
Typically this mounting method will result in the subwoofer(s) being offset to the left or right of the screen, however
a subwoofer(s) may also be placed on the side wall
Using multiple subwoofers flattens room response and improves overall bass performance. It also presents a
balanced look, since in many cases there will be a subwoofer on each side of the screen. One SRA-2700EQ amp is
required for each SRS-210R subwoofer

APPLICATION #3 – FLAT ON THE FLOOR, USING SUPPLIED RUBBER FEET
Rooms up to

Since SubRosa is the most powerful flat-panel subwoofer on the
market, there are a number of other applications you will find for it.
One such original idea is under-couch or under-bed for the high
performance bedroom theater <strong>sys</strong>tem. This configuration adds a
unique tactile feel while at the same time minimizing adjacent room
interference (overall volume level required is less due to the sub’s
close proximity). When used flat on its back, you will need to install
the supplied rubber feet.

application to prevent objects from falling on top of the drivers and to protect household pets from the force of the
