JVlf you were going to design the next generation theatre stereo processor, what
I J_
would it be like? What real-world features and performance parameters would
^^lyou specify?
This was the challenge for the Smart design engineers after reviewing products
presently on the market. There is a need for todays processors to handle the new,
emerging film formats like SR, film barcode, and digital sound inputs without hangon
adapters. Features absent on competitive products sold today include a microprocessor
automation interface that can digitally store 6 sound changes within a show
from 6 formats, and handle 3 different shows per screen. Also direct access selection,
manual overide, a pick off timer, and much more! You won't find full emergency
backup on other processors without buying options that raise the price. How about
the ability to use the economical SMART noise reduction, or accept any of the Dolby*
noise reduction cards without modification. Six channels (plus Sub-bass) are standard
for 70mm interface or expanded 35mm optical presentations.
Would your list of specifications include improving the noise and distortion figures of
present day processors? We've done that!
This advanced new product is the new MOD IV. It has every possible user feature you
could want for now.. .and the future!
Please write or call for more information on the features you should be using today.
This exciting new processor even looks futuristic!
