Bürstner is one of the leading manufacturers
of caravans and motorhomes.
And that is not without good reason. The
history of the company spans more than
50 years and has been characterised by
a passion for unmistakable design, by
the desire for practical innovation and
by the willingness to provide unique
service. In short: by the clear aim that
anyone who is out and about with a
Bürstner should experience an unlimited
sense of comfort and well-being.
All ideas, concepts and implementations in all
model ranges are focused on this requirement.
This has always been the case. Bürstner’s
roots go back to 1924, when Jakob Bürstner
founded a large carpenter’s and joiner’s workshop
in Kehl-Neumühl in Baden (Germany).
The transition to today’s successful company
began in the late 1950s with the construction
of the first caravan.
As one of the first companies to do so,
Bürstner ventured into France in the mid-
1970s. The company took over a furniture
factory in the Alsatian town of Wissembourg,
which is now one of the most modern production
plants in the industry. Bürstner is also
considered a pioneer when it comes to motorhome
production. For more than 20 years,
motorhomes have been a permanent feature
in the company’s range of products.
Bürstner has also set new standards in customer
service. In 2004, the nearly 16,000 m²
Customer Service Centre was inaugurated.
From here, the supply of replacement parts
is organised for the whole of Europe and it is
here that all those interested in caravans and
motorhomes can get an overview of many
Bürstner innovations. Everything technically
and humanly possible is done to make sure
