EVERYTHING IN SIGHT
Visibility not only means being seen, but also
being able to see. The integrated models score
thanks to their optimised field of vision as a
result of the lower windscreen. Since it is of
course impossible to have eyes in the back of
your head, the optional reverse driving camera
provides a secure view behind you. Whether
there are children playing, road blocks or parking
vehicles – up front you’ll see everything
going on behind you. Even particularly low
barriers can be seen easily. Alternatively, the
optional parking aid ensures safe parking and
manoeuvring in the tightest of spaces. With
the help of acoustic and visual signals, the
approaching barrier is revealed – when you are
very close to it, very quick audio sequences or
a non-stop warning sound will “warn” you of
the “danger”.
HAVE A GOOD TRIP
In a Bürstner everything that will increase
safety during your trip has been thought of. In
the event of an accident, the standard driver’s
airbag prevents or absorbs the impact that
would occur from the occupant hitting hard
parts of the vehicle (also available as an option
for the passenger). As in the car industry,
three-point seatbelts have been standard in
Bürstner vehicles for a long time. They are not
only installed on the driver’s and passenger’s
side, but also offer protection in the seats in
the rear – even in the rear-facing seats.
The issue of safety is of primary importance at
Bürstner, meaning that we don’t forget about
even the “small” safety-related issues. For example,
the extending rear entry steps are connected
with the cockpit via a control display.
If they are not retracted prior to departure, a
clear signal will indicate this. Correct loading is
also a key safety factor when travelling, which
is just as important as technical features. The
equal distribution of weight and the placement
of heavy objects near the axles guarantee that
everything will stay in place even when braking
sharply or when driving around tight bends.
The optional Toptron CPU (Crash Protection
Unit) ensures that in a crash (or even in the
event of undesired slanting of the vehicle, e.g.
when slipping on a slope) the gas supply is
turned off so that no gas will be released. In
addition to the gas heater, all other appliances
that use gas will be turned off. When the risk
is gone, the gas supply will commence again
by simply operating the on/off switch in the
vehicle. For this reason, you don’t have to
worry and can safely use the Toptron gas
appliances while driving.
RELAX AT YOUR HOLIDAY DESTINATION
Once you have reached your holiday destination,
the double locks on the premium
door (optional) ensure that unauthorised
entry to the motorhome is significantly more
difficult without keys.
