BED-MAKING MADE EASY<br />
Unlike integrated motorhomes that have a folddown<br />
bed above the cab, the fold-down bed<br />
in the Ixeo class is located above the seating<br />
area. In just a few manual steps or electrically<br />
as an optional extra (depending on the model),<br />
the ceiling is lowered, giving way to two fullsize<br />
berths. After waking up the ceiling can be<br />
raised again, thus making the entire living area<br />
available once again. The bedding and pillows<br />
simply disappear under the slightly curved roof<br />
of the vehicle.<br />

The comparably low total height of only 2.75<br />
m (2.85 m in the Ixeo plus) as well as its flowing,<br />
aerodynamic design give the Ixeo class<br />
top marks when it comes to wind resistance.<br />
Not only is the engine power used more efficiently,<br />
thus lowering fuel consumption, but<br />
sensitivity to lateral wind as well as wind noise<br />
are also reduced. These are the basic prerequisites<br />
for a pleasant holiday journey – even<br />
over long distances.<br />
