enjoy your independence as a couple or as a small
family, Bürstner’s semi-integrated models provide
just what you need. They allow you to spend your
free time taking a spontaneous excursion off the
beaten track. Thanks to their compact dimensions
and low centre of gravity, they are easy to
manoeuvre along winding country roads and narrow
village lanes. You’ll always find a place to park
so that you can make an unplanned stop along
the way.
There are three semi-integrated model ranges
available. The Travel Van stands out in particular
due to its extremely compact dimensions. The
Nexxo is an affordable entry-level model in the
semi-integrated class. And the Solano is intended
for anyone who doesn’t want to do without anything.

From a beach promenade to an alpine pass – as the most compact
semi-integrated model, the Travel Van is so agile that it
masters even narrow, winding roads. Perfect for couples who
value flexibility above lots of space.
With its low-frame chassis, it not only does well on the road.
Large storage cupboards and good ideas provide space everywhere,
such as in the large garage below the single beds.

Sleep well: with the Travel Van you‘ll have a tough time choosing between
two large single beds or one comfortable double bed. After all,

FOR A SMALL PRICE
Get behind the steering wheel and take off – the Nexxo is the
affordable entry-level model to introduce you to the world of
motorhoming. And with holiday floor plans in lengths between
5.69 m and 7.44 m, it offers a great deal of space so that two
people can enjoy an unlimited sense of comfort and well-being.
Its dynamic lines make you want to drive up and down mountains
and through valleys, while the low-frame chassis with a
wide-track rear axle will get you excited about winding country
roads. No matter where your trip takes you – driving is always
fun in this vehicle.

The Nexxo also has the right twist: when the pilot seats upholstered
in the interior fabric are turned 180°, a comfortable seating
area is created with the side benches and single column table. Give
your taste free rein when choosing the upholstery fabric for the Nexxo.

are available to choose from. The VarioSeat is especially clever
(forward-facing seat on the left with a three-point seatbelt). Once you

You don’t have to go to the mountains to go higher. Welcome to
the high-class Solano, a semi-integrated model and one of the
most successful motorhomes in Europe. Its sweeping design
makes it a real eye-catcher.
The wheelbase of the low-frame chassis is variable, and thus
perfectly balanced for each floor plan. Together with the widetrack
rear axle, this ensures the best road performance. Compared
to standard construction, the lightness of the Alko galvanised
chassis saves around 100 kg of weight, thus leaving more
room for luggage and holiday gear.
For real connoisseurs: the L-shaped kitchen with large roller-mounted
drawers and the standard TEC Tower (150-litre refrigerator with a

can do both with the Ixeo. That is because it is the
first semi-integrated model with a fold-down bed
for two additional, full-size berths. This means that
up to four people can enjoy an unlimited sense of
comfort and well-being, while the Ixeo time it 650
even offers seating and berths for 6 people.
But Bürstner is not only the inventor of the semiintegrated
model with a fold-down bed; it also
offers the largest selection with 14 floor plans.
Three model ranges leave nothing to be desired.
The Ixeo time is the affordable entry-level model
to introduce you to the class of semi-integrated
models with a fold-down bed. The Ixeo is the pioneer
and epitome of this new class of vehicles,
providing excitement through its dynamic exterior
design and comprehensive furnishings. Anyone
wanting an extra dose of luxury and exclusivity will
be delighted by the elegant interior and numerous
extras found in the Ixeo plus.

IXEO CLASS
LESS WEIGHT FOR MORE ROOM TO ENJOY A
SENSE OF COMFORT AND WELL-BEING
The Ixeo class convinces thanks to the wide
variety of well thought-out floor plans featuring
lots of room to enjoy a sense of comfort
and well-being – with a total weight of only
3.5 t. Even the largest models, such as the it
726 G measuring 7.39 metres in length and
featuring a rear garage, do not exceed this
important registration limit. The lighter AL-KO
chassis makes this possible. You also have
more leeway when loading: you can take approx.
100 kg more luggage with you on your
trip than with comparable floor plans without
an AL-KO chassis.
SAFE AND MANOEUVRABLE ON ALL ROADS
Some models in the Ixeo class have the Fiat
Ducato low-frame chassis with a wide-track
rear axle, while others have the lighter AL-KO
low-frame chassis with a wide track.
Both improve road performance in many ways:
the lower centre of gravity allows the vehicle to
stay firmly on the road and minimises vehicle
rocking when quickly changing direction. It can
thus be easily manoeuvred through winding terrain.
A full air suspension system is also optionally
available for the AL-KO front and rear axles,
which increases driving comfort even further.

BED-MAKING MADE EASY
Unlike integrated motorhomes that have a folddown
bed above the cab, the fold-down bed
in the Ixeo class is located above the seating
area. In just a few manual steps or electrically
as an optional extra (depending on the model),
the ceiling is lowered, giving way to two fullsize
berths. After waking up the ceiling can be
raised again, thus making the entire living area
available once again. The bedding and pillows
simply disappear under the slightly curved roof
of the vehicle.
SLEEK AND EFFICIENT
ON THE ROAD
Total height: 2.75 m
The comparably low total height of only 2.75
m (2.85 m in the Ixeo plus) as well as its flowing,
aerodynamic design give the Ixeo class
top marks when it comes to wind resistance.
Not only is the engine power used more efficiently,
thus lowering fuel consumption, but
sensitivity to lateral wind as well as wind noise
are also reduced. These are the basic prerequisites
for a pleasant holiday journey – even
over long distances.

The new Ixeo time knows its target group. In the basic version,
its appealing exterior design as well as the practical furnishings
in its spacious interior make it the most affordable entry-level
model in its class.

Cheers to the fold-down bed: it‘s like magic. Not only can the cosy
seating area quickly be converted into a bed. When the ceiling above
it is lowered, another bedroom with two full-size berths is revealed. A

When the fold-down bed is up, the seating area in the Ixeo time
is a cosy lounge with a starry sky above – the lighting integrated
into the fold-down bed makes this possible. Here, there is room

You‘ll also be spoiled in the rear. In the Ixeo time it 720 you
can make yourself comfortable on the large freestanding double
bed. During the day the two panoramic windows let in the daylight,

comfortable. The spacious L-shaped
seating area with a side bench allows everyone
to sit together comfortably, even in a large
group. The semi-dinette will appeal to those
who like things practical since it saves space.
Prefer things complete? Then the full dinette
with two side benches is the right choice. In
more compact floor plans, a third pilot seat or
a small side bench can be integrated (depending
on the model/floor plan). This is optionally
also available as a VarioSeat: in just a few
easy steps the bench can be converted into a
seat with a three-point seatbelt, thus providing
secure space for another person while driving.
When it comes to comfortable seating, we

the Reliner sofa. This Bürstner invention allows
the seating position to be individually adjusted

The driver and passenger pilot seats upholstered
in the interior fabric are ergonomically
shaped and can also be adjusted in terms of
height. This allows you to travel comfortably

seats are rotated 180 degrees, they become
comfortable armchairs that are harmoniously
integrated into the living area (depending on
the floor plan, not standard equipment in the

system thus enables the headboards of single
and double beds to be moved into the desired

feature can also be added to the freestanding
double bed: with Comfort matic the bed can
be electrically pushed back and converted into
a comfortable couch, thus creating additional
space in the bedroom. Families benefit from
space-saving bunk beds, which children love.

The VarioBad is a prime example of the optimal
use of space. The idea behind it is as simple
as it is ingenious and is based on the fact that
the wash basin and the shower are not normally
used at the same time. For example, if you only
want to wash your hands or brush your teeth,
the majority of the bathroom is reserved for
the wash basin. If you want to take a shower,
the wash basin can be swivelled to the side and
the tap with its extendable hose is used as a
showerhead. The space-saving slatted curtain
creates a shower area in XL format.
EXTREMELY SPACIOUS – THE SPACIOUS
BATHROOM
The spacious bathroom concept turns three
rooms into one single, large oasis of well-being
with lots of elbow room. The shower and lavatory
with a toilet are located in separate rooms
across from one another and can thus be used

Statistics confirm that the majority of accidents
are caused by the failure to recognise
other road users in due time. Here, the size
of a motorhome is certainly the greatest
asset – but the standard LED daytime running
lights ensure even more “visibility” above and
beyond that. The vehicle lighting is constantly
on – not just in the dark or in poor visibility,
but in good visibility during the day as well.
Your benefit: you are seen more quickly. The
use of LED lights also convinces not only due
to their clear, bright light, but also because of
their low energy consumption and long life.
Perfect all-round view in integrated models

EVERYTHING IN SIGHT
Visibility not only means being seen, but also
being able to see. The integrated models score
thanks to their optimised field of vision as a
result of the lower windscreen. Since it is of
course impossible to have eyes in the back of
your head, the optional reverse driving camera
provides a secure view behind you. Whether
there are children playing, road blocks or parking
vehicles – up front you’ll see everything
going on behind you. Even particularly low
barriers can be seen easily. Alternatively, the
optional parking aid ensures safe parking and
manoeuvring in the tightest of spaces. With
the help of acoustic and visual signals, the
approaching barrier is revealed – when you are
very close to it, very quick audio sequences or
a non-stop warning sound will “warn” you of
the “danger”.
HAVE A GOOD TRIP
In a Bürstner everything that will increase
safety during your trip has been thought of. In
the event of an accident, the standard driver’s
airbag prevents or absorbs the impact that
would occur from the occupant hitting hard
parts of the vehicle (also available as an option
for the passenger). As in the car industry,
three-point seatbelts have been standard in
Bürstner vehicles for a long time. They are not
only installed on the driver’s and passenger’s
side, but also offer protection in the seats in
the rear – even in the rear-facing seats.
The issue of safety is of primary importance at
Bürstner, meaning that we don’t forget about
even the “small” safety-related issues. For example,
the extending rear entry steps are connected
with the cockpit via a control display.
If they are not retracted prior to departure, a
clear signal will indicate this. Correct loading is
also a key safety factor when travelling, which
is just as important as technical features. The
equal distribution of weight and the placement
of heavy objects near the axles guarantee that
everything will stay in place even when braking
sharply or when driving around tight bends.
The optional Toptron CPU (Crash Protection
Unit) ensures that in a crash (or even in the
event of undesired slanting of the vehicle, e.g.
when slipping on a slope) the gas supply is
turned off so that no gas will be released. In
addition to the gas heater, all other appliances
that use gas will be turned off. When the risk
is gone, the gas supply will commence again
by simply operating the on/off switch in the
vehicle. For this reason, you don’t have to
worry and can safely use the Toptron gas
appliances while driving.

AL-KO AMC CHASSIS
This model year, Bürstner is equipping numerous
models with the low or high-frame AL-KO
amc chassis in a slimmed-down lightweight
construction. An important argument in favour
of the AL-KO amc chassis is that, thanks to
the weight savings achieved through the use
of this chassis, higher loading capacities can
be realised, meaning that the maximum permissible
weight class of up to 3.5 tonnes is
observed.
The axle track width is wider than in the original

for the cabin of a motorhome, there are two
different approaches: either you prefer maximum
standing headroom inside and make
concessions when it comes to aerodynamics
or you go for as little wind resistance as possible,
which leads to less headroom on the

cleverly placed under the floor are electrically
heated, thus making it possible to warm the
floor where it makes the most sense – namely
in the living and sleeping areas.
A WARM SPOT FOR THE WINTER
In Bürstner integrated models, the elite motorhome
class, modern pilot seats provide
first-class seating comfort. On cold days a seat
heater can be turned on, which operates at 3
levels. In addition to the seat, the back is also
pleasantly heated.
When your Bürstner motorhome is equipped
with the optional winter package, you can rely
on perfect winter ability. You thus no longer
have to worry about frozen wires or damage
to the water tank. The models with a heated
double floor are perfectly suited for being able
to enjoy your free time with no worries, even
in the bitter cold. Heating convectors and ideally
insulated storage hatches ensure that the
on-board utilities as well as your luggage are
stored in a frost-free space.
The water supply is also perfectly regulated.
The water tank can be used variably: the volume
can be limited to 60 litres when you are
travelling alone or with just one other person,
thus saving on weight. If you are travelling with
your family or friends, the volume can be expanded
to 120 litres. This means that several
people can enjoy long showers without the
water running low. The large waste water tank
with a 90-litre volume ensures that you can
take your time with waste disposal.

I-COM remote control allows for the easy control
of all functions thanks to its touchscreen

In connection with the automatic Alden satellite
aerial, the built-in DVB-S receiver including

A TMC receiver provides you with the
latest traffic information. The multi-sensor
navigation ensures precise positioning in

This has always been the case. Bürstner’s
roots go back to 1924, when Jakob Bürstner
founded a large carpenter’s and joiner’s workshop
in Kehl-Neumühl in Baden (Germany).
The transition to today’s successful company
began in the late 1950s with the construction
of the first caravan.
As one of the first companies to do so,
Bürstner ventured into France in the mid-
1970s. The company took over a furniture
factory in the Alsatian town of Wissembourg,
which is now one of the most modern production
plants in the industry. Bürstner is also
considered a pioneer when it comes to motorhome
production. For more than 20 years,
motorhomes have been a permanent feature
in the company’s range of products.
Bürstner has also set new standards in customer
service. In 2004, the nearly 16,000 m²
Customer Service Centre was inaugurated.
