organisation who may be able <strong>to</strong> assist you.<br />

tenancy agreement.<br />
How can friends and family help?<br />
It is important that friends, family and other carers cont<strong>in</strong>ue <strong>to</strong><br />
provide support for people who move <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> sheltered hous<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
Wherever possible, the Community Warden will try <strong>to</strong> <strong>in</strong>volve them<br />
<strong>in</strong> the scheme and, with prior permission, will keep relatives<br />
<strong>in</strong>formed of the tenant's health and well-be<strong>in</strong>g. Practical examples<br />
of such support from friends and relatives, <strong>in</strong>clude help<strong>in</strong>g with<br />
meals, pay<strong>in</strong>g bills, giv<strong>in</strong>g medic<strong>in</strong>es and help<strong>in</strong>g with <strong>in</strong>ternal<br />
decoration and clean<strong>in</strong>g and respond<strong>in</strong>g <strong>to</strong> emergency calls made<br />
by Community Wardens or CareL<strong>in</strong>e.<br />
