Successes
This is maintained up to date via specialist IT software.
In 2009 the Council will be commissioning a new stock
condition survey to consider condition of the council
housing stock. Target of completing initial Decent Homes
programme by 2010 will be achieved.
Successes
New South Derbyshire Landlord Forum launched in
2008 following consultation with landlords. Landlords
favoured a local authority led Forum meeting twice yearly,
supplemented with two newsletters per year. The first two
forum events were well attended and used to promote the
East Midlands Accreditation Scheme. A second newsletter
will be published in March 09.
A range of schemes has been introduced including a
regional landlord accreditation scheme, rent guarantee
scheme and private sector leasing scheme.
The benefits, together with training and other support are
promoted through the Landlord Forum and newsletters.
